The Remsenburg Academy

P.O. Box 372

130 South Country Road, Remsenburg, New York 11960

It all began as a private boys school circa 1885 and is currently an important part of the South Country Road streetscape.

This historic building was named a Landmark by the Town of Southampton and continues to play a key role in the everyday life of the entire community.

The Academy is delighted to present ArtRemsenburg, which brings painting, photography, sculpture and mixed media events to this magical setting in a series of summer art shows.

If you are interested in learning more about ArtRemsenburg please contact Paul Dempsey - paul.r.dempsey@gmail.com.

The Academy is owned by the Town of Southampton, and is leased to the Remsenburg Academy Association.  It houses a library, and is used for meetings, social events, lectures and fine art exhibits throughout the year.

The Academy Association, was split off from the Remsenburg Association as a distinct 501(c) entity, so it could receive public support through tax deductible donations to maintain the building.  If you would like to make a donation, please contact Maggie Brush, President, via email at:  mbrush3037@gmail.com.
